what is the processure to surrender a gst number if no gst return file during the yr. if there is no turnover if proprietor unable to do business due to illness

nil return should be filled every month. if no return file from such long period then dept will suo moto cancelled the GST Registration. login and go services>registration>Application for Cancellation of Registration
