Surrender GST Registration

Dear Experts
We are a Labour Law Advisory (proprietary) company registered under GST since July2017 & before that we were registered under Service Tax regime.
1) What is the current turnover limits for service providers under GST because we are planning to surrender GST registration.
2) If we fall under Pt 1 then would the following suffice before we make an application for surrender:
- filing GSTR3B for Mar2020
- filing GSTR1 for Jan-Mar2020 &
- filing GSTR9 for year 2018-2019 & 2019-2020
3) Do we need to take care of any other aspects other than Pt 2.

The turnover limit for a service provider is Rs 20 L.
You need to apply online (through GST POrtal ) for cancellation and need to follow the steps required .

1. The turnover limit for service providers is Rs. 20 Lacs for Normal Category States & Rs. 10 Lacs for Special Category States.
2. Yes, you can apply for cancellation after filling all your returns upto March 2020.
Follow the steps:
Login into your account on www.gst.gov.in
Go to Services >> Registration >> Application for Cancellation of Registration
Fill the details required
Select the reason for cancellation and date of cancellation
Go to verification tab and verify using EVC or Digital signature and your ARN will be generated.
File GSTR-10
