30 March 2010 What is meant by the term 'Subscription list'?
Also explain the meaning of the pharse "time of opening of subscription list".

30 March 2010 The term Subscription list is generally used in IPO or fund raising from public.

When an issue of share for public is open to invite public to subscribe for the shares of the company The same is called opening of subscription.

A much more detailed answer from other experts is solicited.

30 March 2010 There are certain rules fixed by SEBI regarding opening and closing of subs. list. Like a subscription list should be open for a particular period of time.

I would request you to go through section 72, 73 and 74 carefully.
