Submission of Annual Report of State Govt owned Companies

The concerned company is a 100% State Govt Company of West Bengal.
In every year it has to submit 450 copies of Annual Report to be laid before W B State Assembly.
My query before the Senior fellow experts that :why 450 copies required to submit?
Is their any rules under Companies Act 1956/2013 or The Constitution of India or assembly rules?
I cannot find anything like that.
Please enlighten me.

20 March 2025 the submission requirement comes from section 394 of the Companies Act. Number of copies shall depend upon on the number of MLAs and other departments that may be relevant on case to case basis.
