04 March 2014 Hello, I am articled assistant as per IPCC course. I started my articleship training on April 2012, so as per rules i am eligible to give my Final C.A. examination in November 2014.
I have taken as minimum as possible of 10 leave up to this date. I want to know as per ICAI rules and regulations how much period of STUDY LEAVE is allowable to me ?

04 March 2014 An article is allowed leaves equal to 1/6 of the total period served.

It is to be computed as under:

(Total period served-leaves taken)*1/6

In effect this comes to 156 leaves during the total period.

04 March 2014 To grant me study leave from the date i want. (obviously i want ask for leave which is not reasonable)

04 March 2014 There is no provision. Leave can be availed only with the prior permission of the principal.
