Striking off name of company

As per sec 560 of Companies Act 1956 the procedure for striking off the name of defunct company is prescribed. What is the corresponding new section in new companies act 2013 ?? what is the procedure for defunct company striking off.??

Please follow the procedure as in 1956 act because corresponding section is not enforced in 2013 act.

Sir, there is a new sec 248 of companies act, 2013 i.e Removal of company's name from the register of Companies. So, should we follow the same sec for defunct companies too or old sec 560 of Co. aCT 1956, is to be followed ?

248 is not enforced. Pl follow 560 of Co's Act,1956.

sir that means both the acts are working simultaneously i.e new companies act 2013 and the old companies act 1956

Yes, The Companies (Amendment) Act, 2015 has also to be read along with 2013 act w.e.f 26.5.2015.
