14 October 2012 we are metal manufacturing industries.
we purchase scrap metal by kgs.

but our final products would be become in Pieces.

so please advise me how we disclose our final products means in Kgs or in pcs.

For the purpose of internal audit and also for tax audit,you can indicate the weight of final products in your records as you will be knowing the weight of the peices......MJK

15 October 2012 If the Final Product is shown in Pcs then also you must be knowing per pcs is how may kgs.
Moreover as suggested earlier also disclose in a UOM in which the product is sold
