22 November 2011 hello sir my principal does not paid me stipend and now he is calculating on day basis is it correct?//////or it should be calculated only on monthly basis?

23 November 2011 You principal should pay you monthly stipend : mandatory !!!!
He should not calculate it on day basis. The excess leave taken by you have to be served at the end of the articleship period. You should maintain your attendance records(requirement of ICAI) with you separately and safely in a diary alongwith the work done on a daily basis. This will help you if he makes any false allegations.
If he does not pay you stipend, make an application to him in writing(keep a copy with you). Still if he doesn't, complain with ICAI, alongwith the copy of application made.

23 November 2011 i agree with sumit. there is only monthly stipend concept as per ICAI. there is no calculation of stipend on daily basis. just maintain your attendence dairy (records), and complain with ICAI.
