If your Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG) tax isn't showing up in your ITR 2 filing, you may need to report it in the correct section. STCG from listed securities, including those before and after July 23, 2024, should be declared in Tab A3(i) of the Schedule CG. Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG) from shares are reported separately in Schedule 112A.
i am filing ITR 2 (online) under which i am mentioning the CG and 112A (which is exempted)..as i can check it is not showing the tax part on STCG...i dont know why..where all i have to mention it so that it shows the tax in TTI sheet... STCG (Before 23.7.24=18669, After 23.7.24=44118)
