02 September 2025 Please help me witth itr filing. i am not sure where to report STCG on Silver ETF

02 September 2025 You will report STCG on Silver ETFs in the "Schedule Capital Gains" in ITR-2 by providing the details of sale and acquisition in the short-term capital gains section. The tax on this will be calculated as per your income tax slab rates since Silver ETFs STCG is taxable at slab rate.

02 September 2025 Thanks for the response. I know its a normal tax rate. but not sure about the location of schedule cg . and i filing itr 3 as business income is there also. first we have sale from land / building, then equity stcg then mf, then which are not within above scope. but ther is no option to show under normal tax slab

03 September 2025 yes, I have updated there.. but in tax calculation it is showing at 20% calculation instead applicable rate

03 September 2025 Are you using Java utility latest version DU vr.1.2.2. I have no issue with it. It is showing perfectly in schedule CYLA in Tab. vi. (ST at applicable rate)
