Query
Can someone please clarify or confirm, will it be appropriate to fill as ‘OTHER SOURCES INCOME’ in the INCOME TAX RETURN FOR INDIVIDUAL, the STCG amount earned from the Redemption of Mutual Fund Non Equity Oriented?

no. it is not appropriate and is a misrepresentation. kindly show it in Capital gains only.
