Dear Sir
While closing books for the year 2014-15
i have noticed that one cheque issued on 04.02.2015 has not cleared till date i.e. 19.06.2015
Now this cheque has become stale
Now what entry is required on 31.03.2015

Just reverse the payment entry on 31.03.15 & show the balance as payable under Current Liability

if i transfer the issue amount to Stale Cheque will this be ok or not
after reconfirming from bank i will reverse the stale cheque and show liability in next year
pl confirm as i have already transferred the bank issue account to stale cheques.
