04 October 2011 Dear Expers,

Will you please suggest me.. if i m not wrong, As ST-3 form in excel utility in ACES site is seems wrong for the assessee who opt for tax payment on the basis of gross amount charged in the bill.. But in ST-3 return in excel utility the service tax is calculated on Gross amount received..
So the main problm is that how to fill the ST-3 in excel utility. Please suggest.

04 October 2011 According to me, ST is payable on the basis of gross payment received, so we have to mention the amount received in the return.

Correct me if I am wrong.

05 October 2011 No.. there is a change in point of taxation Mr. Deepak Narula, Now ST is payable on billing basis or accrual basis..

Please experts reply soon... i m still waiting for ur response..

05 October 2011 you can put the figures calculated on acrual basis in that utility. this utility shall soon be revised as this is the first return after the change in point of taxation from cash to acrual.

05 October 2011 but in which colom i fill the amount on accrual basis..?? Please clarify me..
