27 December 2016 Dear sir,

I wanted to know that if i have taken service tax no from year 2012 but not any return filled, so now can i filled return without any penalty.

27 December 2016 If the there was no taxable amount of turnover and there was no service tax payable even then service tax return was to be filed. However it can be argued that in the absence of taxable turnover there was no loss to the Govt. In case there was taxable turnover then you will have to pay the penalty.

27 December 2016 yes ND is true we can argued that there is no turnover and no revenue loss to government.
