Can anyone help me regarding amendment in ST-2? Is it necessary to submit the original ST-2 with all required documents for amendment?
After getting amended what is the next step? shall i go for "complete Amendment" Under REG tab and should complete the procedure and take a printout and seal of the officer on those print out? Kindly suggest...

29 September 2013 please clear the type of amendment you require in ST - 2.

if amendment is to add or remove services then no other document is required. you have to apply through online at www.aces.gov.in make the changes and then take the printout and submit to your jurisdiction officer.

if the changes is other than above (i.e. addresses, owner, etc) then along with the printout you have to submit the supporting documents to your jurisdiction officer.

29 September 2013 Original ST-2 has to be surrendered in lieu of issuing ST-2 afresh with amendments.

Amendment has to be done using online facility.

Procedure is as follows:-
1) logon to www.aces.gov.in
2) click'REG'
3) click 'amend registration'
4) click on 'registration number'
5) ST-1 will be displayed.
6) go to the required page using ' next' option.
7) do amendment where ever required and upload.
8) take a print out ,sign, seal, attach documents,if any, depending on the nature of amendment, and submit before the superintendent with in 7 days of electronically uploading the data.
