03 July 2013 Private limited company availed SSI exemption under notification 8/2003 going to submit its first SSI return. The turnover of Apr-June 2013 is 4.5 lacs.
1) Is it required to submit ER 3 with Excise department?
2) If yes, is it filled nil or in what manner?

03 July 2013 as per 8/2003 there is an option of not availing ssi exemption. SSI is already allowed for everyone.
so if some one is SSI then no need to take registration or file return.

if opted not to avail ssi exemption then pay tax and file return
