20 March 2009 Can I know the eligible exemption of special allowance given to a non-armed force employee to meet the personal expenses while on duty? Thank you.

20 March 2009 Hello dear, as per your point, except armed forces special allowances, two special allowances are there.
1.Special Compensatory(Tribal area/Schedule area/Agency area allowance [Amount of exemption Rs. 200 per month]
2.Special compensatory hilly areas allowance or high altitude allowance, etc.[Exemption varies from Rs.300 to Rs.7000 per month].
