Yes, you can generally pay an interim dividend from your accumulated profit and loss balance from the previous financial year, provided these profits haven't been transferred to reserves. Additionally, interim dividends can be funded by profits earned from the beginning of the current financial year up to the end of the quarter preceding the declaration date.
