my friend is running an Educational Institution. It's turnover during the last financial is Rs.> 1Crore. Is it required TAX Audit.

Yes, for F.Y. 2009-10 if your gross receipt is more than Rs. 40 lacs (For F.Y. 2010-11 it is Rs. 60lacs then tax audit is mandatory.
