28 May 2012 Can anyone tell me the procedure to apply for small dealers composition scheme.

28 May 2012 for composition scheme you have to apply in its prescribed format with yearly data and after applying you will be get approval of filing returns in composition scheme and also certificate of registration

04 June 2012 Querry is related to which state? Provisions are different in different states.
In Maharashtra,The dealer intending to go for composition scheme for retailer, shall apply in the ‘Form-4 ’ appended to this notification for exercising the option to pay tax under the composition scheme. The application should be made on or before 31 st March of preceding year, then it will be applicable for subsequent financial year. Once opted for scheme then it can be changed only at the beginning of the next year.
