Slab for deducting income tax tds

Dear Sir,
I have been working with a company from last year 13-14 till Aug-14 and my Tds was deducted from my salary . And now i resigned from the company and joined a new one in Oct -14 .My doubt is that whether the slab limit of 2,50,000.00 starts from the month of Oct-14 or it is a continuation of the old company.
Kindly advice please.

The limit of rs 2.5 lac is for the year and it was used in your previous employer salary.
so new employer will not give benefit again.
