Six sigma certification courses

10 July 2012 Hii i want to know about the six sigma certification course whether it is useful for CA and what is meaning of Green belt ,black belt ,yellow belt in six sigma i m novice in this .......i dont now anything and please tell the eligibilty ,fees ,validity of these course,..........please throw some light on this..........thanks in advance........

Six Sigma Certification is one of the best certifications available to the people in operations. Operations for this purpose is currently limited to manufacturing processes.

Its hard to know that there are very few organisations who are implementing six sigma to their process in India. Also, till now it is understood only in the terms of manufacturing operations rather than efficiency booster.

So in my opinion, it would not add much value to your profile after doing CA. However, if you are targeting a particular organisation for your job, please check whether it has implemented Six Sigma already.
