Is sitting fees required to be paid again to the Directors at an adjourned or postponed meeting, if my articles are silent on this aspect?

YES.
My answer is based on the interpretation of section 309(2) read with DCA clarification w.r.t. sitting fee.
If you go by the very nature and purpose of sitting fee then very much required to be paid again.
