TDS paid thru a challan for particular section can be adjusted in same financial year in two different quarters with same section? Which section is applicable for both the answers i.e. yes or no.

Its adjusted in two different quarter.
But Challan unmatched statues will be showed in 26AS of your deductee account. and default will be generate into your TAN account. So when deductee will claiming to refund the tds amount. Claim not be passed by IT dept. due to unmatched statues of respected challan. So avoiding this situation.. please remit tds payment quarterly and file return in the same quarter.

challan can be matched by showing full amt. of challan in challan section in each quarter where as in deductee part amt. will be shown to the extent of challan utilized for the said quarter. However i need as per the income tax section wise the applicablity of the same. Or the act is salient about the same.?
