Whether Form No.22-A as per Companies Act, 1956 is STILL VALID for use.

11 November 2013 Yes, if you are calling meeting on shorter notice then it is valid.

For my case, shorter notice is applicable.

Can you please confirm that still Companies Act, 1956 shall be applicable for Shorter Notice in Form No.22-A (i.e. Section 171(2) of CA 1956 applies still)?

12 November 2013 Firstly Yes, it will be still applicable......

The provision of New Companies Act is not applicable till date.
