Hi,
I have recently purchased shares from a known person in physical format. He has signed the share transfer deed and asked me to get it stamped and submit to registrar along with Original Share certificates. Although the attestation section is not filled. I would like to know if Attestation section in Transfer form is mandatory to be filled?
kindly enlighten.

Not mandatory. But the recent past cases depicts that the non tallying of signature has become a major issue. So it is better you get it attested. At least, one step of verification is saved.
