04 October 2014 Have a querry regarding share certificate, is share certificate is required to be issued wen share is reduced after transfer of share, plz any body provide the formate of share certificate old and new. Plz help asap.

08 October 2014 After share transfer there is no need to issue a fresh share certificate. After approval of share transfer simply mention the transfer details on the back side of share certificate and issue the same to the transferee.

Revert if there is any doubt.

08 October 2014 One more point :

Under companies actv2013 the format of share certificate has been changed. So if you are registering the transfer after April 2014 than use the new format.

Plz check section 46 of CA 2013 along with rule 5 of Companies (share capital and debentures) rules 2014. New share certificate format is given in form SH-1.
