My client has profit in delivery base share market trasaction. and he also has loss in commodity transaction for which he dealt in MCX. Can he get set off for loss of commodity against profit from normal delivery base share market transaction???

Transactions took place in recognised exchanges, are deemed as normal business transactions vide Section 43(5) and such loss can be set off.
