Under reverse charge mechanism of service tax whether service tax is paid on any amount or more than Rs. 750/-.

Yes, but there are exemption for certain products for GTA service. Kindly refer the notification to avail the exemption. Other than in the negative list, the person who pays freight (more than Rs.750) against a consignment note/LR issued by the GTA only has to pay service tax on 25% of the freight amount.
