Please tell me is online filling of service tax return compulsory for those who exceed service tax liability of Rs. 50 lakh.

i found in my ipcc material tr6 i am getting confused. what about on line return filing.

50 lakh limit is for e-payments, returns to be filed by all, irrespective of the limit.

Filing is compulsory irrespective of 50 lacs. The 50 lacs provision is for filing of e-payment and no relevance with returns
