i am doing construction work i have receive one project who is paying 30L in bank but i am not registered in service tax and he is not ready to pay in cash so what i will do now

if you are providing any declared service then first after you get min of 9 lakhs as gross consideration must get yourself registered with service tax department and when it crosses rs 10 lakhs then you need to pay service tx.

you have to apply for service tax no. with the deptt.
