Service tax registration to add new signatory(urgent)

15 November 2013 sir i submitted ST-1 form mentioning only one signatory of private ltd co. but it is said we should mention all directors' names.
so sir please tell me how should i rectify the mistake?

15 November 2013 Now you can not edit the application submitted by you...
Go to the superintendent on the designated date... He will verify and send back the application... Then you will be able to correct the error...

15 November 2013 is there necessary to give details of all the directors or one is enough?
if is withdraw application form and then register again and fill correct form of same company will it be ok ?

15 November 2013 Yes while registering under Service Tax one has to provide details of all directors in case of company...

I wont suggest the option to withdraw the application.. It may put you into trouble in future as once had happened to me...
Better go to him and let him send back the application then you can make correction...

15 November 2013 if company is registered in mumbai and it is trading company but sell goods all over country but want to registered only mumbai office is it correct ?

16 November 2013 Dear Ashutosh, Service tax is not to be levied on trading goods...
If company is providing services all over the country then you will have to see the place from where services are being provided..
for registration under service tax, place of provision of service is necessary.. If company doesn't have any branch office and bills are being issued from Mumbai office only then registering only Mumbai office is fine...
