How could I Obtain Service Tax Registration No. on firm operated by Individual person.Pls, tell me detail procedure

For getting registered under Service Tax first you should have PAN No.
Down load ST-1 online from the CBEC Site fill up the form properly and upload the form. Take out the print of eform and acknowledgment. Sign all the documents and along with this forms copy of PAN Card and address proof shall be submitted to the department.
You will get ST-2 registration certificate online. Take out two copies of the ST2.
Physical copies shall be submitted to the department. The department will issuethe registration certificate.
