27 February 2010 We have Mfg unit with Service Tax Registration for GTA.

Now we are starting trading activity from same premises.

Should we have to take new service registration trading activity or we can use same registration of Mfg unit?

YOU have no require to start any new sST- REGISTRATION same registration of Mfg unit ALREADY HELD BY YOU.

27 February 2010 Dear Sir,

You need not to apply for fresh registration number. You need to apply only for amendment in service tax registaration no. in which the new service will also be added. The application has to be made in ST 1 form.
