14 June 2010 there is firm handing business of pest control work. i want to know that for this firm service tax is applicable? if yes, what is turnover limit to apply for ser. tax registration.

15 June 2010 It can be classified under management,maintenance or repair service.
The service tax will be leviable for pest control work and the Taxable service amount should exceed Rs. ten lakh per annum. The turnover limit to apply for service tax registration limit is Nine lakh
