Service tax password forgotten
(a) In the ACES Home Page - Service Tax - enter your id and click Forgot Password.
A dialogue box will pop up asking you to answer your secret question.
A new OTP will be sent to your registered e-mail id.
Using that you can reset your new pass word and then log in.
(b) If by some chance that does not work, make an application to your Service Tax Range Superintendent by letter stating your login id and request for generation of a tpin, stating that your id has been blocked. This is similar to an OTP and can be used to generate a new password.
