how to show the service tax paid in tally?
is it direct expence and indirect expense? or any?

It is not expenses this is type of duties and taxes, create ledger under Duties and taxes while charging Service tax credit that account and while payment debit that account

if your gross income includes service tax also then it direct expenses otherwise it will duties and taxes under current liabilites
