To my knowledge the abetment is availabled for GTA services only.
For STGU services the applicable rate for service Tax is 12 % and 3% SC.
Pl.confirm the position.

abatement is available for many other services also like mandap keeper etc.

STGU - is Supply of Tangible Goods for Use. It is the hiring of equipment like cranes - wherein the ownership is not transferred but the equipment with the reqquired, trained manpower is provided for use by the hirer.
w.e.f.16.05.08 Service Tax is applicable on this service also.
