Dear Rohit
Service tax applicable on renting of immovable properties. If the rental income is not exceeding Rs 9 Lacs this year and you are not providing any other service, you are exempted from charging service tax. If rental income exceeds rs 9 Lacs then Registration is required while charging limit is Rs 10 lacs
