Yes. It is applicable w.e.f last FY. Earlier, passenger vehicle services were not taxable. Now even passenger vehicle owners have to pay SvT. Remember, you have the threshold limit of Rs. 10 Lacs.
Eg:- RedBus and other travel websites are charging SvT on booking tickets.
