Dear Expert
I am working in company. We have received bill of tranporter of Rs. 7500/- for a single consignment. Transporter does'nt have service tax registration number in this regards I would like to ask that still we have to book liability of service tax ? please reply.

The transporter is owner of the vehicle or GTA. if the transporter is a GTA then you have to pay the ST otherwise not required to do so.

Yes you should book liability of service tax, and deposit the same under your ST No. (As Service Tax is libility of Service taker not the service provider)
