Hi,
Can you please tell me whether there is any exemption for Service tax for English & Other Foreign languanges teaching Classes.
Is Englisg language comes under the defination of Other Foreign Language.
If there is any exemption please refer me the circular/notification

Under Article 343 of the Constitution of India, English is an official language and therefore consdering the same as a foreign lanaguge may not be appropriate.
However where the coaching is for specific vocational courses such as nursing/ accountant etc then the possibility exemption under vocational coaching maybe examined.
