SERVICE TAX ON AMC OF AIR CONDITIONING

Dear sir , as we have undertaking amc for Air conditoners with comprehensive and non comprehensive. my query is when it s comprehensive at what percentrage we have to collect vat and service tax will andif its non comprehensice what would be the rate on service tax and Vat sicne we aer in karnataka is there any changes in vat and service tax rate

In my opinion, on the total bill pay VAT on 70% and pay service tax on 30%. Are you mentioning the nature of replacement under AMC or is it replaced without any further bill.

Dear Mr . Kotresh sir, thank for u your opinion. if its comrehensive AMC we take take care( and we use to mention some the major parts and jobs which are going to include in our amc) lots of free replacement of some the major parts like compresser etc. where as in the case of non comrehensive amc we use take only for service part and replacement of parts if any will be charged additionlly
