19 October 2012 I want to know one thing regarding service tax on air ticketing. There is any abatement on service tax on Air Travel Agency (Domestic / International Ticketing)? Because rate of Air Ticket on domestic ticketing 0.618 % & On International Ticketing 1.236%..

19 October 2012 an option is provided to air travel agents to pay ST @ .60% plus cess in case of domestic booking and 1.20 plus cess in case of international booking st is paid on basic fare

19 October 2012 Thanks mam.. It means there is not 90% & 95% abatement on International & Domestic Ticketing ??

19 October 2012 no such abatemant.the rates 0.60 and 1.20 have been specified
