Please tell in detail service tax implications on actors & singers. Whether Receipts for doing film is liable to service tax. Which receipts of actors are liable to service tax.

Services by performing artists in fold or classical art forms is exempt from service tax provided it is not provided as a brand ambassodor.
Also admission to entertainment events is exempt from service tax.
