22 April 2011 from which date service tax is applicable on hotel room rent and what is the limit for the same.whether it is laible only on room rent or inclusive of extra bed charges if any.pls advice.

04 July 2011 the service tax is applicable on room rent above Rs. 1000/- For computing the limit of Rs. 1000/- also noted that discount need not to be deducted.
