Service tax new registration

17 December 2012 one of our clients registered for New Service Tax No. and Filed ST-1 as on 18/06/2012, But after that no action was taken from any side. Now he wants to get the Number. It's almost 6 Months gone from the date of filing of ST-1, What Should He do for the same.
Please help in the matter.

The limit of 15 days for filing papers to the concerned service tax office is theoretical only, they accept the papers after 15 days also, so you can try to submit the papers today also.
