If a company is manufacturing redg in Excise, and not in redg in Service Tax. Then in which condition, it will be liable for Service TAx

06 April 2015 It happens when the taxable value of services exceeds Rs. 10 Lakhs.
If the value exceeds rs. 9lacs, then you should intimate the department.

06 April 2015 Oh. Yes. Here in this case, you got to pay Service Tax on Reverse Charge Mechanism. please read Notification No 30/2012 dated 20.06.2015 raised in CBEC site under Service Tax Notification.

In case of Service Tax on Freight, the person liable to pay freight has to pay the Service Tax. Also you are having a factory, you will come under the ambit of the notification.

Also, please note that even if your turnover does not exceed the limit, you have to obtain registration and pay tax on reverse charge basis.

06 April 2015 No. If you are paying to an outsider, then only he problem arises. (I.e, any other person).
