we are exporter and have charged courier in every shipment; now have to paid service tax or any liabilities on that.

please confirm

05 June 2013 If you are providing courier service besides export, You have to pay service tax on courier service if receipt from courier service is above 10 lacs.

06 June 2013 We are not providing courier services but we give the door to door delivery by courier service providers; like DHL or TNT and we have charges from customer as courier charges in shipment invoice copy.

06 June 2013 If you are acting as pure agent and charged customer for the courier charges which you have to pay to courier agencies. It is only reimbursement and service tax is not applicable on it. But if you are charging above the sum what you have to pay to courier agencies, you have to pay service tax on whole amount which you receive as courier charges.
