Hi, My query is that i have to apply for a service tax number for an assessee who is a cable operator..I just want to confirm that while selecting the services from the list, i have to choose CABLE OPERATORS ?

For a cable operator / DTH service provider (not Zee TV, Sony TV etc) relevant head for registration is u/s 65(105)(zs) Cable operators - 00440217 (old section relevant only for registration/payment of Service Tax purposes)
